Relay the Way
When the Kansas City Royals invested in a new Urban Youth Academy to help kids learn and grow through baseball, they needed help to raise money and spread the word. So we played a game of catch. Sounds simple enough, but we played it with more than 2,000 people stretching 9.5 miles all the way to the pitcher’s mound for the opening day first pitch. And we built a wifi enabled baseball so fans could send their well wishes directly to it. The game made headlines, raised thousands of dollars and the academy is currently helping kids play ball.
